Guide to applying for a funding grant

The William & Lindsay Brodie Foundation was established on 11th September, 2017.

Applications to the William & Lindsay Brodie Foundation are considered quarterly -
March, June, September and December.

Applicants should provide as much information as is considered necessary to support the application.  Attachment of large quantities of material should be avoided.  The application is requested in duplicate, but only one copy of attachments.

Applicants should be aware that the limited funds of the Foundation do not allow for all proposals of merit to be funded.  An unsuccessful application does not necessarily mean that it was not well regarded by the Trustees.  Accordingly, the Trustees’ decisions are not open to review.

Main Objective

Trustees’ Evaluation:

  • Promotion and encouragement of the education and scholarship of persons in need;
  • Improvement of the health and welfare of the incapacitated, the impoverished, the young and the aged;
  • Amelioration of the positions of disabled and disadvantaged children and their families;
  • Advancement of young people;
  • Establishment of facilities directed to any of the above purposes.
  • The advancement in the South Western district State of Victoria or wider in Australia of any one or more public scientific public educational or other public charitable purpose as determined by the fund trustees.

Giving Area:

Charitable purposes in Warrnambool and the South Western district of the State of Victoria.
